Bay Area Legal Services is a nonprofit, public interest law firm that provides free civil legal assistance to eligible low-income residents in our five-county service area: Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Sarasota.

The program provides comprehensive services to victims of violent crime, including information about the criminal justice system, notification of court hearings, and escort to courtroom and deposition hearings. There is no charge for these services. The Domestic Violence Program provides comprehensive services as listed above to victims of domestic violence, as well as assistance with Injunctions for Protection.
