Outstanding Young Lawyer Award
The Hillsborough County Bar Association Outstanding Young Lawyer Award is established to recognize an attorney that has been in practice for five years or less, or is under the age of 36, and is recognized as exemplary in the area of professionalism and in the practice of law in his or her field of practice, has performed service to the community on a personal level and has been actively involved in the Hillsborough County Bar Association Young Lawyer Division.

The award is intended to be a major recognition of an attorney who has makes a difference in the practice of law and the community because of the individual’s ethics and conduct.

The Robert W. Patton Award recognizes an outstanding jurist with an excellent reputation for sound, judicial decisions, unblemished record for integrity as a lawyer and judge, generally recognized by bar members as highly qualified, active in bar-related activities open to the judiciary, demonstration of concern or willingness to assist young lawyers, and demonstration of respect for their abilities.
