Listed below are classifications of membership in the HCBA.
First time applicants must pay a New Application Fee. $ 25
Regular Members: Individuals with a law degree & a member in good standing with Florida Bar. $210
Student Members: Law students or graduates who have not yet taken the Florida Bar exam. Proof of law school enrollment is required. $25
Government Attorney Members: Attorneys employed by local, state, or federal government offices.$100
Affiliate Members: Non-attorneys with a relationship to the HCBA. $280
Paralegal Members: Paralegals with certification, schooling or equivalent experience and currently employed as a Paralegal. $60
Law Firm Administrators: Employed with a law firm as an administrator $60
Honorary Members: Lawyers over age 70 who have been members of the HCBA for 25 years or more. (complimentary)
Judicial Members: Judges receive complimentary membership. (complimentary)
The Hillsborough County Bar Foundation is the charitable giving arm of the Hillsborough County Bar Association. Donations to the Hillsborough County Bar Foundation are optional. $25
