HCBA Presents Annual Awards for Outstanding Service to the Bar and Community

The HCBA honored three outstanding members with annual awards. The awards were presented at the HCBA's Diversity Membership Luncheon on Wed., Jan. 10, 2018 at the Hilton Tampa Downtown. Those honored at the luncheon:
- Lanse Scriven, Trenam Law, winner of the 2017 Outstanding Lawyer Award
This award recognizes an attorney who has made a significant difference in the practice of law and the community because of his or her personal and professional ethics and conduct.
- Chief Judge Ronald Ficarrotta, Thirteenth Judicial Circuit, winner of the 2017 Robert W. Patton Outstanding Jurist Award
This award, presented by the HCBA YLD, recognizes an outstanding jurist who has an excellent reputation for sound judicial decisions, demonstrates concern or willingness to assist young lawyers, and shows respect for their abilities.
- Linda Anderson, Bay Area Legal Services, Inc., winner of the 2017 Outstanding Young Lawyer Award
This award, also presented by the YLD, recognizes an attorney who has demonstrated exemplary performance in the areas of professionalism and in the practice of law in his or her field.
