Speakers:

Rachel Streitfeld, founder and managing partner of Bright Side Legal, a boutique land use and zoning practice in Miami-Dade County. She is also an associate at the law firm of Erin L. Deady, P.A., where she advises local governments on sea level rise and climate change adaptation.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Rachel was a lobbyist and regional director for the pro-Israel, pro-peace advocacy organization J Street. Before that, she served the constituents of Florida’s 23rd Congressional district as the staff assistant to Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz. She also has extensive political campaign experience.

Tammy Briant Spratling is currently an Associate Consultant with TNG, an education risk management consulting and law firm. Previously, Tammy was Assistant Dean for Student Affairs at Stetson College of Law where she continues to teach civil rights law. Tammy is also an adjunct professor in the University of South Florida’s College of Education.
