This Presentation Will Self Destruct: Emerging Issues with the Collection of Electronic Evidence

1.0 CLE credit including 1.0 Technology credit (applied for)

Topic:

Self-destructing email, automated purging of text messages, cloud based attachments, data stores, and social media accounts that allow you to selectively delete specific data with no means of recovery . . . these are some of the concerning trends in electronic evidence to be discussed with Adam Sharp of E-Hounds, Inc., along with best practices for identifying and collecting this critical—but often elusive—evidence.

Speaker:

Adam Sharp is the President and CEO of E‐Hounds, Inc. and Data Recovery Labs, Inc. founded in 1993. He has been qualified in over 170 cases over the last 25 years in State and Federal Courts as an expert in Data Recovery, Data Analysis, Computer Forensics, Information Technology and E‐Discovery. Mr. Sharp is a computer crime consultant to a number of local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, as well as providing computer evidence support to a broad range of civilian agencies.
