COVID 19 has caused unprecedented interruption on the legal community. Among those areas affected is the specialty of real property litigation and transactional interactions. Specifically, the federal and state governments have imposed requirements regarding evictions, foreclosures, and interpretations as to force majeure clauses in contracts. This seminar will focus on the real experiences of attorneys dealing with these issue and the lessons learned regarding the same.

Kasey Feltner, Esq. Shutts and Bowen. Kasey’s practice focuses on a broad range of complex, commercial litigation matters. He has represented HOAs & planned communities in commission hearings across Florida, condemnor & condemnee in eminent domain proceedings in both state & federal courts, commercial clients in landlord/tenant disputes, and sober living facilities in FHA/ADA discrimination lawsuits. Kasey currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Hillsborough County Bar Association's Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section.
