The Hillsborough County Bar Association offers several categories of membership. Please select the category that best describes you. Get more information on the benefits of membership.
Attorneys: Individuals with a law degree or a member in good standing with The Florida Bar.
Government Attorneys & Active-Duty Military: Attorneys employed by local, state, or federal government offices, or active-duty members of the military.
Student Members: Law students or graduates who have not yet taken the Florida Bar exam. Proof of law school enrollment must be provided with application.
Honorary Members: Lawyers older than 70 who have been members of the HCBA for 25 years or more.
Judges & General Magistrates: Acting judges and general magistrates or those who have not returned to active practice.
Affiliate Members: Non-attorneys who have a business relationship with HCBA members.
Paralegals: Those with paralegal certification, schooling or equivalent experience who are currently employed as paralegals.
Law Firm Administrators: Those employed with a law firm as an administrator.
